What they do
The Governing Body is responsible for the overall strategy and policies of the school, not the day-to-day management which is the responsibility of the Headmaster. The Governors appoint the Headmaster and the Bursar, control the school's finances, make decisions on building projects and monitor all aspects of the school's academic and curricular performance.
