Mahler's Symphony No 8 recorded on the LSO Live CD label. Valery Gergiev conducts the London Symphony Orchestra with the Choir of Eltham College, LSC and Choral Arts Society of Washington.
"Gergiev caught the crucial moment of expectation to perfection. But in the end it was the shattering power of several hundred voices, an expanded orchestra, full cathedral organ that delivered the mightiest of Mahler's symphonies with the sonic splendour it demands" (Evening Standard, concert review).

I Was Glad is an exciting recording from the Choirs of Eltham College. The CD includes the first ever recording of Karl Jenkins' Sing We Merrily Unto God, composed to mark the opening of the new Music School at Eltham College. Other highlights include classics such as Parry's I Was Glad, Stanford's Beati Quorum Via and Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine. The choir are joined on the recording by the brass players of the Orchestra of St John's and internationally renowned organist, Henry Fairs.
The Gothic Symphony, Havergal Brian features the Eltham College Trebles in a recording of their BBC Prom debut in the Royal Albert Hall in July 2011. The CD is released on Hyperion Records, and also features the BBC Concert Orchestra and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
The Gothic "remains one of the oddities of the English symphonic repertoire, but Martyn Brabbins and his legions of players and singers do it proud" (The Daily Telegraph)
"This recording comes from the work's first, thrilling and bizarre BBC Proms performance in July … The enormous, almost mystical sound of the chorus, the intriguing vocal colours, wacky instrumentation and sheer vastness of the enterprise give it an odd cult appeal: truly epic" (The Observer)
