Welcome to visitors from Nuremberg

This year’s Sixth Form Exchange visit from the Bertolt Brecht Schule in Nuremberg took place from 31^st January to 7^th February. The partnership between our schools is now nine years old, and once again the German group was led by their teacher Frau Brunner. The eight German pupils spend three days sightseeing in London and they also attended lessons at Eltham College. Three of the German guests took part in our cross-country race at Guildford and we are hoping to strengthen sporting links between our two schools. Two of the German pupils returned to Eltham for a second consecutive year, and we are most grateful to Dario and Katharina for their help in our German lessons. It was a great experience for us all and we are looking forward to our return visit to Nuremberg during the last week of the Easter holiday. We are also investigating possible work experience placements between London and Germany.
