Who we are and what we do
The PTA plays a vital role in the life of Eltham College. Financial support is provided by a variety of fundraising events such as quiz evenings, a summer ball and second-hand uniform sales. We are pivotal in organising a community spirit by holding many social events and supporting school activities, such as the Big Run in April. In recent years the Association has financed many projects in the school.
Click here for a report about our 2011 Autumn Fair.
Current projects include:
- a notice board for the Junior School playground, informing parents of events, news and general school life
- wooden benches for pupils to enjoy at break and lunch within the school grounds.
- musical equipment for the Junior School, encouraging extended percussion tuition, ultimately leading to the formation of a Samba Band in the Junior School.

Lost Property
On the last Thursday of each half term, the pavilion becomes a battleground for the sorting of lost property.
Named uniform is allocated back to pupils via their form groups. Un-named uniform is separated for pupils to identify.
PLEASE COULD YOU ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT, AND BAGS ETC ARE CLEARLY NAMED? THIS WOULD ENSURE THAT YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS CAN CLAIM BACK THEIR PROPERTY.
The sorted property is re-claimed from The Old Quad between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. The dates are published in the school diary.
The next one is on Thursday 9th February 2012.
Second-hand Uniform Sales
The uniform sales take place on the first Thursday of each month in the Science Block
from 3.30-4-15pm.

The next one is on Thursday 5th January 2012.
Good quality second-hand uniform, including sports kit is available at competitive prices.
Click here for a price list.
Dinner Jackets for Musicians
Many of our pupils are involved in Musical Ensembles. It makes sense to start re-cycling Dinner Jackets, which can be expensive to purchase new. If your child has outgrown his Dinner Jacket or trousers, please send them to the Second Hand Uniform Sale. The more jackets we receive, the better the supply you will have to choose from. Please ensure they are in good condition.
