Cricket at Eltham College

Cricket at Eltham College has been a strength of the school for many years and the sport continues to flourish with the current batch of youngsters. The school runs eight sides which play regularly at both the weekend and during the week. Over 100 boys train twice a week and are selected to represent the 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI, U15, U14, U13 or U12 side during their time at the school.
Eltham College has a very good record of success in all age groups with an impressive fixture list, including Felsted, Bancroft's, Brentwood, Sevenoaks, King's Canterbury, Reigate, Cranbrook and the MCC. The school also plays host to overseas team. The future of Eltham Cricket is bright with the U13s and U12's winning their Kent Cups in 2009 and the U15s in 2010; the College can expect some strong years in the near future. The 1st XI had a successful tour of Australia in December 2009 and will tour South Africa in October 2012.
