Rugby results v Judd
Saturday 11th September
1st XV drew 17 - 17
2nd XV won 26 - 7
Judd dominated the early possession and after a few phases of ball in the forwards, Judd passed it out to the backs and made a break into Eltham's half. Eltham held off Judd's attack to win a scrum. From the scrum, a break down the blindside from Tunde Salaudeen led Eltham into Judd's 22, where they would spend the rest of the half. After two try-saving tackles into touch from Judd and the ball being held up over the Judd try line, a try was inevitable and an offload from Tima Oshodin set up Hamish Hamilton, duly converted by Will Holcombe. After retrieving the kick off, it was not long until Eltham were in the Judd 22 again, leading to a try from Will Holcombe and a 12-0 lead. In 2 minutes of madness, late on in the first half, a knock on by Eltham gave Judd a scrum, their kick and chase was missed in almost comic fashion by two defenders and Judd scored under the posts diving on the ball. 12-7 at half time.

The second half kicked off and Eltham spent the first 5 minutes absorbing Judd's attack on their line until an interception from Oscar Thurley and an 80 metre run set up the third try of the game and a 19-7 lead. Eltham continued to attack throughout the second half as the forwards turned over Judd ball at will and the backs made easy breaks. Another try from Will Holcombe from good offloading by the forwards made the score 26-7 and Eltham held on to win the game comfortably.
