Eltham College Choral Society

The Eltham College Choral Society was founded in 1992 and has, in the intervening 17 years, brought together parents, friends, pupils and staff in a relaxed music making environment.
Over the years it has always sought to perform a challenging repertoire including the Fauré Requiem, Britten's St Nicolas, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation Mass, Mozart's Coronation Mass, Mass in C Minor and the Requiem, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, both Vivaldi's and Poulenc's Glorias and Brahms' Geistliches Lied and A German Requiem.
The society attracts a large membership of around 80 who give up Wednesday evenings for about 6 months a year to prepare for performance. In addition to its yearly concert in May, the Choir supports ECCO as part of the ECCO Chorus each summer. The most recent concert was on 9th May 2009.
