Sixth Form Scholars
This year’s Sixth Form Welcome Meeting saw a hundred and five students who have just completed their GCSE examinations. Amongst the future Lower Sixth of 2007 were the VI Form Scholars from both Eltham College and other schools in the locality. They are all photographed below and include: Katie Gunn, Ece Lynch, Sarah Martin, Rebecca Chapman, Nadia Ryder and Danielle Osman, from Bromley High, Hilary Ball from Langley Park, Isabella Burley from St Dunstan’s, Rachel Evans from Blackheath High, Clare Palmer from Coloma Convent, Ali Stone from JAGS, Sarah Taylor from Babington House, Noelle Woosley from Streatham and Clapham High and Nicholas Subramaniam from Bonus Pastor. The following boys from Eltham were also awarded scholarships: Adrian Clay, Peter Evans, Piers Nickolds, James Pearse, Mark Prothero, James Sellick, Jason Wells and Harry Wilson and they join existing scholars Sohil Chotai, Michael Collins, Robert Durham, Christopher Owen, Lewis Owen, Edward Wort and Joe Young.
Year Seven Scholars
Fourteen scholarships were awarded this year, six to pupils from Eltham College Junior School and eight to candidates from local schools. The successful candidates were Ivan Khlevnyuk and Jacob Povey from Heath House School, Sameer Nagi from Birbeck Primary School, Barnabas Pitts from All Saints Church of England School, Callluum Stoodley from Perry Hill Primary School, Harishan Thavarajah from Torridon Junior School, Keerthikan Thirukkumar from Downderry Primary School, Freddie Foster from Brooklands Primary School (not in photograph) and Nicholas Cochrane, James Morrison, Arun O’Sullivan, Richard Prior, James Spencer and Cameron Thompson from Eltham College Junior School.
