House Singing Competition 2006
The School was delighted to welcome broadcasting legend and former Blue Peter producer Biddy Baxter last week to judge the sixth annual House Singing Competition. Each of the four competing houses presented strong performances. Moffat House came a close second with their bright, bouncy version of the Mcfly hit Five Colours in her Hair. However, it was the reigning champions Livingstone House who managed a third consecutive victory with a storming rendition of Hanson’s Mmm Bop, which bore the traditional hallmarks of an epic Ben Pollard production. The scale of the show seems to grow each year. The sell-out crowd was skilfully managed by the production’s organiser and Master of Ceremonies, jazz maestro Mr Norman Levy.
