The Careers Evening on ‘The Media’ was attended by over sixty people and began with entertaining short talks from each of the four speakers. The evening began and ended with Mr Julius Bannister, (Music and Business Publishing) with Mr James Desborough, 
(Newspaper Journalist), Mr Jerry Wright (Marketing Director) and Ms Anna Mallett (Head of Strategy, Strategy Group BBC) occupying the middle order. Each began with a short biography of themselves and was followed by a talk comprising an insight into what their career involved, what skills were required, how much job satisfaction they get and advice on how to pursue their particular career. A question and answer session chaired by Mr Watts (Head of Careers) and an opportunity to have individual conversations with the panellists wrapped up this most informative and enjoyable of evenings.
