The Songs of Praise Service was not only a splendid service but also very well-attended. The introductions to the chosen hymns were thought-provoking and helpful, and both choirs were in great voice and much appreciated. Our Guest speaker Reverend John Keddie presented copies of his new book 'Running the Race' to the five winners of the house cross-country races, and then spoke challengingly about his own research into the enduring fascination of Eric Liddell's life and achievements. After the service he signed copies of his book and delivered a presentation to a good number of pupils, parents, and friends.
