Twenty-Five Years of French Exchanges

A Gala Dinner celebrating twenty-five years of exchange with le Collège de la Salle took place in Central Hall. Past and present teachers from Eltham College and the French Collège who have dealt with the exchange during all these years enjoyed a lavish dinner. Excellent French wine helped everybody remember the turpitudes of our students and even allowed ‘non Modern Languages’ teachers to speak French! Amy Woolcott, Sarah Sammons, Andrew McCafferty and Alex Wort delighted the crowd with their personal interpretation of French songs whilst both Mr Henderson and Mr Renault's speeches highlighted the importance of such exchanges and the special relationship that has endured between the two schools.
