Hockey at Eltham College

Hockey at Eltham College has now become well established since being first introduced in 1998, and the school competes with top teams across the country.  We run indoor hockey sides at all ages in the Autumn term and have reached the semi-final stage of the South Indoor Finals at all age groups. In the Spring term Eltham College regularly fields 11 outdoor sides who compete against the top hockey schools.  The school enters all age groups into the Kent County cup and regularly competes on county finals day.  In 2009 the U16s won both the Kent cup, the South East regionals and reached the National Semi-Finals. The school actively encourages representing the county and in recent years has produced county players across the age groups.  Recent players have also gone on to regional representation with numerous pupils having represented South England teams.
