In the Junior School assembly on Friday 8 September, Mr Cavendish (Master of the Junior School) was delighted to present certificates to the 66 boys who received Distinctions, and 32 boys who achieved Merits, in their LAMDA speech and drama examinations.

As part of the LAMDA curriculum, the boys are required to memorise and perform various poems and pieces of drama using a variety of breathing and projecting techniques. Clearly the Junior School boys accomplished this very well, with no boy achieving less than the score required for a Merit.
Students taking elocution lessons are now looking forward to preparing for their various festivals this year, as well as the Old Time New Time Musicals which proved such a hit last term.
