On Tuesday 19 September, Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in their first swimming gala of the year against a competitive Dulwich College team. Mr Sullivan writes:
We were really looking forward to participating in this year’s first swimming gala: what an opportunity to show off our skills and get in some practice! The boys were able to showcase a range of strokes including butterfly, backstroke and freestyle. In the end, the boys all swam exceptionally well but a special mention must go to the Year 6 team who managed to beat Dulwich College overall. Monty Lyons, Tom Whatling and Daniel Egan gave performances that were particularly noteworthy in this gala but credit must be given to the entire swim squad for what was an excellent swim overall.
