On February 8, Year 5 took part in their annual production of ‘Old Time New Time Music Hall Show’ with Master of the Junior School, Mr Cavendish as Masters of Ceremonies. Their performances included a mixture of songs, dance routines and sketches, this was the perfect opportunity for the boys to showcase their dramatic abilities.
There were multiple renditions of Disney songs from Frozen to Beauty and the Beast. The entire company joined forces to perform ‘Better the Devil You Know’, ‘Let’s All Go to The Music Hall’ and ‘Heaven Must Have Sent You’ and also included the famous Monty Python Dead Parrot sketch.
As Valentine’s Day was the following week, the boys presented their mums with a heart-shaped box of chocolates at the end of the show.
