On Tuesday 6 March, Year 3 enjoyed their final football fixtures of the term with two events happening on the same day! The Under 8A team spent the afternoon at the St Dunstan’s College tournament, playing six-a-side on AstroTurf for the first time. The change in conditions didn’t affect the team as they swept aside the opposition in a wave of attacking strength and defensive stability- six wins out of six an excellent outcome. Meanwhile, back at school the rest of the year group took on Bickley Park in a set of fixtures for the B-E teams. Results here were just as pleasing, with 2-0, 3-0 and 1-0 wins for the Bs, Cs and Ds respectively with the Es battling hard to a 1-1 draw.
The boys should all be very proud of their efforts. Their football season record stands at played 22, won 18, drawn 3 and lost 1.
