Since the Netball Tournament’s conception 7 years ago, Eltham has never won the silver wear. This has finally been rectified with our A Team winning this coveted award. Ally, Kemi, Millie, Caitlin, Amelia, Vickie, Nabila and Hannah out played, out manoeuvred and out did themselves to become the 2018 trophy winners. Winning all their matches against St Olave’s Grammar School, Farringtons School, Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School and culminating in the final against James Allen’s Girls’ School, winning 13-7.
Our B team, Pascal, Victoria, Kathryn, Liv, Kiran, Megan, Bella and Aanandita played their hearts out against tough competition. Winning one of their games against Hayes School 9-4. It was wonderful to see all the girls having a great time and pulling together as a team and supporting one another.
