On Thursday 22 March, former English teacher and Headmaster of a co-educational school, Dick Moore, gave a passionate talk on mental health to our Sixth Form students.
After a personal family tragedy, Dick started visiting schools across England and Wales delivering talks and workshops to students, teachers and parents about the triggers behind mental health issues. He spoke about how to recognise the signs of different types of stress and anxiety disorders. The focus was also on teaching young people how to prioritise their own mental wellbeing and if they are struggling to make sure they find someone to talk to.
