Upper Sixth Form student Connor Malone has recently qualified as a Rugby Referee. Earlier in the year, Connor was an Assistant Referee in the Kent Schools Under 15 Cup Final, and last month in three Kent Under 14, 15 and 16 Cup Finals at Ashford RFC, before heading to Charlton Park RFC last weekend to referee in the Kent Under15 7s Cup Finals.
During this period Connor has been awarded his RFU Referees grading. This means he’s now qualified to referee adult games. Connor hopes to continue both his rugby and refereeing at University next season.
