Year 9 student, Brody Evans recently took part in the 2018 Microbiology in Schools Advisory Committee (MiSAC) Annual Competition. He has been awarded third place out of 300 entries in his age-group, an extraordinary achievement, winning a cash prize for both himself and the College.
The annual competition was introduced in 1985 to enhance student interest in microbiology. This year’s task was to produce information for a new teenagers’ website called “Commercial uses of Fungi – what Fungi do for us.”
