Congratulations to Conor (Upper Sixth) who has gained a place with the National Youth Theatre. Conor joined the Sixth Form from St Thomas More as a Drama Scholar. He has taken full advantage of every opportunity to participate in co-curricular Drama by auditioning for every play and musical, enthusiastically participating in every additional workshop and working in the technical crew. This year he has played Brutus in Julius Caesar, Bill Sykes in Oliver! and Pissani in Accidental Death of an Anarchist. He has also just gained a distinction in his grade 8 LAMDA Acting exam. Conor’s last performance with Eltham College will be as a lead role in Assassins at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer and after the final performance he will jump on a train to begin his training with the National Youth Theatre. We are very proud of all of his achievements and look forward to seeing him perform in future productions in the West End.
