Thursday 27 September, the Netball team attended the first round of the U19’s Kent netball tournament.
The team did incredibly well with wins against Cranbrook School 13-7, a tough loss against The Judd School 15-5 but then winning again with 12-6 against Newstead Wood School, 11-10 against Bennett Memorial Diocesan School, 15-0 against King’s Rochester, 8-5 against Colfe’s School and 22-4 against Sir Roger Manwood School.
It was a narrow loss against Walthamstow Hall with a score of 8-6 that unfortunately put the girls in third place, and so they did not make it to the next round of Kent’s. However, the team remain hopeful as reserves.
