On Friday 4 January, the 1st XI Hockey squad got the season underway with their annual trip to Norwich. The team would spend two days preparing for the upcoming season; playing six matches against some tough and skilled opposition.
With seven new players making their debut, the two-day tournament was a much-needed workout and the squad showed a considerable amount of improvement.
