A massive congratulations must go to the Eltham College chess players, the Senior team beat The Judd School 4-2 with excellent wins from Ximan, Uzo, Freddy and Liam. They move onto the next round where they will face Wilson’s School. The Junior chess players also did very well, with the A team winning three out of their four games and drawing one to remain unbeaten but ultimately finishing in second place. The B team won one of their three games, losing the other two to the top two teams present. Special mentions to Aaron and Matthew who finished with a 100% win record. Arguably even more of an achievement was the fact that the boys were praised on how they conducted themselves throughout the day and they should all be extremely proud of their efforts.
