The Netball A team triumphed in the Under 19 Netball Tournament for the second year in a row retaining their title as winners. It was a tough day with six games more or less back to back played in total. The girls won the final game 8-7 against Royal Russell School and were successful throughout with their unfaltering maximum effort and unbreakable team spirit.

The final was tense to say the least, with the girls winning by one goal thanks to Hannah’s fantastic shooting. A special mention to Vicky who played out of her normal position but fiercely defended for the A team the entire tournament. Also well done to Caitlin for her fabulous play after a return from being injury Everyone was incredibly proud of one another and it was a great way for the Upper Sixth to end their time playing Netball at Eltham College.

The B team played really well at the tournament with some really close games. Being the only B team in the competition, each game was going to be a challenge but they managed to score lots of goals against teams such as St Olave’s Grammar School and Hayes School but despite, they did not making the semi-finals, the team worked extremely hard throughout the tournament and played some really good Netball.
