The Lower School Academic Twilight Program experienced a truly ‘Ink-redible’ evening in the Biology department, with a full-on squid dissection led by Mr Marlow and James H The evening began with a brilliant lecture delivered by Eltham’s premier Marine Biologist, James H(L6); who immersed the students in a sea of interesting facts about squids and marine biology. Some freshly delivered squid were opened up and examined in detail, with the students identifying some key features such as the mechanisms involved in jet propulsion through the water, reproduction, and the black ink sac.
