Charlie (Year 11), a key member of the Eltham College Golf Team, has been selected for the SE England Golf U18 regional squad.
On Sunday 8 September, Charlie gathered with other golfers for the SE England Golf U18 regional selection day. Charlie played very well, shooting -5 in the afternoon’s 18 hole round. Competition on day was very tough, so Charlie was thrilled when he found out the following Tuesday that he has been selected, alongside 8 other players.
Charlie has been on form over the summer, with a round of +1 at the Wentworth Junior Open, the joint lowest score. With a current handicap of 1.5, he has been selected to play for the Kent U18 team and regularly plays for the Kent U16 team.
