On Saturday 28 October, over 180 boys from Year 7 to Year 10 took part in the House Rugby tournament. All games were played in an excellent spirit and the standard of rugby was very high throughout the morning. A special mention should also go to the Year 12 students who coached the House sides from the touchlines with genuine enthusiasm, skill and gusto. The results of the tournament were as follows:
Year 7 winners – Chalmers
Year 8 winners – Moffat
Year 9 winners – Livingstone
Year 10 winners – Livingstone and Chalmers
Director of Rugby, Mr Jervis, said “It was great to see such a good turn out from students and parents and also brilliant to see so many boys enjoying themselves playing rugby who do not normally play on a Saturday. It would be great to see more of these boys turn out for the school teams.”
