Eltham College U11 and U10 Rugby teams had the privilege of being given some additional coaching by England Rugby International, Vicky Fleetwood. Vicky is a Rugby Union player and Coach, who represented England at the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup when England triumphed and lifted the trophy after beating Canada in a tumultuous final.
On Friday 4 October, the students were put through their paces in several drills and training routines that are used to train Rugby players at the highest level. Vicky shared her experience with the students of playing under intense pressure, giving them an insight into the world of elite Rugby.
