After an intense competition fought over many rounds, Carey finally captured the cup when the results were announced by the Head of Music at Eltham College Junior School, Mr Alexander. The final showpiece concert was watched by students across all year groups from the Junior School, and Carey won by the narrowest of margins.
The standard of musicianship was higher than ever, and ranged from those in Year 3 just embarking on their musical careers to students in Year 6 who attend the Royal College of Music and are destined for greatness.
