In celebration of Black History Month a programme of events were held throughout the school last week, including assemblies and panel discussions.  Former student Ike Olomo hosted a live webinar where she discussed Micro-aggressions expanding on her article she recently wrote for the Foxbury Gazette.  Ethan Bernard and Cephas Williams talked about their personal experiences and organisations they have set up to encourage diversity, equality and inclusivity.

This week students will take part in a series of workshops reflecting on real life experiences in and outside of school, and be learning about different cultures.  Students in Year 11 have worked collaboratively on an assembly that will be delivered to the rest of the year group.  Students will also be researching and discussing notable and inspirational Black Britons and how society has been enriched and made stronger by their contributions.
