Year 7 scholars have been examining the theme of change as part of the scholars programme. Having looked at the demise of the retailer Comet arguably due to a failure to change, they examined cases where change had successfully been managed such as Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson. Having looked at the practice they then considered some models for managing change. During this lesson pupils went into breakout groups to consider how they might design a plan to carry out a specific change in the area of reducing environmental damage e.g a reduction in the consumption of plastics.
The lesson forms part of the Scholars Programme which includes workshops and lectures overseen by our Head of Academic Scholarship, Mr Cavendish.
