SwimmingÂ
Swimming has taken on a new lease of life with the return of morning swim sessions for all students. Wednesday and Thursday mornings have been very well attended and on the back of this the first Gala of the year for years 7 & 8 saw Eltham finish 2nd with many superb individual performances. As we return to some normality and students build up their swimming strength, we will see more Gala’s attended through the rest of this year.
Water Polo
Once again Water Polo can be played and enjoyed by students in all age groups. New for many, we have seen exciting fixtures take place for U12, U13, U14, U15 and the seniors so far in what has been a whirlwind return to competitive aquatics. Sessions will continue after school and the fixture calendar will continue to fill up as the programme regains its identity.
Golf
The golf team have had an excellent half of term winning all 3 of their matches and progressing in the ISGC competition with comprehensive 3-0 victories in rounds 1 & 2. Exciting times ahead as the teams look to go further after half term.
X Country
The X Country teams have had a phenomenal half of term. The Junior and Intermediate boys have qualified for regionals in the English schools national cup and the year 7 squad won the Greenwich schools cup. In both competitions we had 1st place finishes in 6 races with 13 boys and girls being selected for the London Youth Games.
