(On Wednesday 17 November) Following recent elections, we are very pleased about the formation of the new school Congress which held its inaugural meeting this week.  The Congress has been set up to represent and make decisions in the interests of the school community.  The 70 newly-elected student Members,  were welcomed to Congress and briefed on how it and the new four sub-committees will run.  The sub-committees will be:

  • Equalities Committee
  • Food and Facilities Committee
  • Charities Committee
  • Environment Committee

Student members are signing up to join the sub-committees and will develop initiatives and  ideas and present their recommendations to Congress.

The Congress and committees will meet several times every term.
