The Year 8 Scholars led by Mr Chris Cook enjoyed their session this week reading and visualising “Stealing the Boat” part of William Wordsworth’s The Prelude. Having listened to a reading of the poem the pupils then highlighted particular examples of positive and negative imagery. Following some closer textual analysis they then sought to produce an artistic impression of the poem’s setting and more challengingly its mood.
