Continuing with the practice of Senior Students delivering presentations to the younger Scholars, Zak in our Lower Sxith talked to the Year 8 cohort about his involvement with the Arkwright Scholarship.

The students were fascinated to hear of his various design projects particularly his interactive spectacles and how he applied for and was successful in winning this prestigious national award.

The lecture finished by linking back to the work the group had done about Saltaire the model village in Yorkshire, which was inspired in many ways by the ideas of Richard Arkwright.
