Before delivering the inaugural Peake Lecture to a full house in the Antony Barnard Theatre, Dr Harry Cliff spoke to members of the Year 10 Athenaeum and Year 11 Colloquium for an hour after school. After discussing his work at CERN and his career journey he went into a fascinating exploration of the recent discoveries and challenges lying ahead in the world of particle physics. This built very well on Year 10s resent talk about Quantum Entanglement by Dr Cianciaruso and the level of questions from all the students showed an impressive level of both interest and understanding
