Over the first three days of the April Holidays, the Smoke and Mirrors Team of Nathan, Zak and Lachlan competed virtually in the International Finals of the Safecracking competition having won their place through achieving second in the national competition.
Having worked tirelessly on their Physics puzzles and exceptionally engineered safe since the National Round in February, the team dealt with three rounds of judges questions on the first day and virtual cracking the second, with all interactions taking place over Zoom. This was an amazing opportunity to be a part of a global community, and an experience not to forget, continuing the extraordinary success that Eltham College has had since taking part for the first time only 6 years ago.
