Designing a building’s façade using clay and plaster 

Using clay, plaster and more materials to create a beautiful façade of a building. Learn the techniques that people have used for centuries and take home a beautiful artwork that you can display with pride.

 

Monday 18th July  12.30pm – 2.30pm

Create a Tile Mosaic Masterpiece 

Create a tile mosaic masterpiece using colourful ceramics tile pieces. Using ancient tablets and architectural details as inspiration, you will create a figurative piece that narrates a story or a abstract decorative piece.

 

Tuesday 19th July 10 am – 12 pm

Design and make friendship bracelets 

Learn how to knot together a friendship bracelet. Use embroidery strings and beads to create a beautiful and colourful pattern that you can wear or give to your friend.

 

Tuesday 19th July 12.30 pm – 2.30 pm

Create a mixed-media monster totem 

Create a fabulous totemic sculpture of a monster using different materials. The totem will serve as a guardian to your room and you are able to display it on your bedside table or study desk.

 

Wednesday 20th July 10 am – 12 pm

Cyanotype printing 

Come learn about the power of light and one of the first forms of photography. We will be making beautiful blue Cyanotypes using sunshine and nature.

Book Binding with prints  

If you love books, you will love this workshop on making small books using a simple book binding technique. If you attend the morning session on cyanotype printing, you will be able to turn those prints into a graphic book.

 

Thursday 21st July 10 am – 12 pm

Tie Dye a hoodie  

Learn how to tie-dye and make a beautiful hoodie that you can take home and wear. Mix colour and make a unique and fashionable print.

 

Thursday 21st July 12.30 am – 2.30pm

Paint a tote bag 

Come decorate your own tote bag with your own design. Make a badge to go with it and be fully customised in your fashion choices.

Etching Printing

Want to learn how to make a fabulous print? Come learn a safe non-toxic form of etching (dry-point), use an image we make and learn how to create it multiple times with our wonderful printing press.
