LSAA Cross Country Success for Eltham College Athletes
The LSAA Cross Country Champs saw an outstanding performance from a group of Eltham College athletes who proved their mettle on the challenging course. The Junior Boys team brought home a Silver Medal, with Monty B, Nathan C, Aidan C, Joe L, Leo M, and Aaron C contributing to their success. The Senior Boys team also achieved a Silver Medal, thanks to the efforts of Theo T, Shivang K, Dylan D, and Harry B.
Year 10 student, Olly B, secured third place overall and qualified for the English Schools National Final. Olly’s talent shone through once again as he finished an impressive 21st at the National X Country Championships in Chester. He then went on to represent Kent at the Inter Counties (Home nations) and finished in 19th place, coming first home for Kent and 14th in England.
It is fantastic to see such dedication and hard work pay off for our young athletes. Their success is a testament to their passion for the sport and the training they have put in. Congratulations to all of the participants for their outstanding achievements. We wish them continued success in their athletic pursuits.
