Our Year 6 students recently embarked on an exciting journey to France, filled with adventure, learning, and unforgettable experiences. From picturesque coastal towns to poignant historical sites, this France residential trip left a lasting impression.

From vibrant markets to serene beaches, they embraced the colours and flavours of the region, connecting with friendly vendors and savouring culinary delights. Highlights included discovering the artistry of a local sweet maker and a visit to a chocolate factory.

Deepening their understanding of history, they visited sites linked to the Battle of the Somme, where the students stood in awe at the impressive Lochnagar Crater and paid tribute at the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland memorial.

As the journey came to a close, the Year 6 students returned home with hearts full of cherished memories.
