Eltham College was pleased to welcome author and journalist, Sathnam Sanghera, for an insightful visit on Monday 5th June. Junior School students had the valuable opportunity to engage with Sanghera as he shared insights about his latest children’s book, “Stolen History.” The session proved to be thought-provoking and left a lasting impression on all attendees.
In addition to the talk delivered to our Junior School, Sanghera also addressed our Senior School during lunchtime, providing unique perspectives on his new book and his distinguished body of work. This occasion allowed our older students to directly connect with the author and actively participate in meaningful discussions. All students were able to acquire signed copies of the book after each talk.
Sanghera’s visit highlighted his ability to make history accessible through literature, solidifying his standing as a prominent thinker on the subject of Empire.
We thank Sanghera for generously sharing his time and insights, which greatly enriched the educational experience of our students.
