Eltham College is excited to announce the next Peake Lecture featuring Professor Michael Clarke, titled “Ukraine Crisis and International Relations: A War and Peace Perspective”. The event will take place on Wednesday 1st February 2023 in the Antony Barnard Theatre on site, starting from 6.30 pm.

Professor Clarke is a distinguished scholar and commentator on defence and international affairs, having served as the Director-General of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and the Professor of defence Studies at King’s College London. He will share his insights on the Ukraine crisis, which began in 2014 and has been one of the most significant geopolitical events of the last decade.

Drawing on his expertise in security and international relations, Professor Clarke will explore the origins and evolution of the Ukraine crisis, its broader implications for Europe and the world, and possible paths forward for resolving the conflict.

As with all Peake Lectures, the event is free to attend, and all members of the Eltham College community are welcome. Wine, refreshments, and canapés will be served before the talk, providing an opportunity for guests to mingle and network. Don’t miss out on this exciting and informative evening.
