Eric Liddell Sports Centre
at Eltham College
The Sports Centre is an incredibly important feature of life at Eltham College and is used by our students and staff as well as being accessible to the local community. The school has around 70 acres of spacious playing fields used seven days a week.
As well as rugby and cricket pitches and nets, they also include two fully-floodlit hockey and football AstroTurf pitches, tennis courts and, in the summer, a grass athletics circuit.
The Sports Centre serves as the school’s primary resource for indoor sports and is also a resource for the local community to use too. The Centre has a wide range of impressive sports facilities including a sprung floor dance studio, a sports hall with indoor hockey flooring and four indoor cricket nets, an indoor climbing wall, plus a fully equipped fitness suite with aerobic and conditioning equipment. There is also a modern 25 metre indoor heated swimming pool which our students use to do swimming and water polo.
