We are pleased to announce that students at Eltham College have attained very good GCSE results 2023 – despite the exam boards returning the assessment and grade boundaries to 2019 levels.

Of all the GCSEs awarded to Eltham College students, nearly one third (30%) were at grade 9, 56% were grade 9/8, and 81% were awarded one of the top three grades 9-7.  These top grades were spread across a broad range of subjects and reflect the broad curriculum that Eltham students follow.

Guy Sanderson, Headmaster of Eltham College, said: “Given the pressures that students faced over the past few years, and the fact the grade boundaries have been toughened this year, these are pleasing results and we congratulate our students on their success.  Our students worked hard and diligently to revise for the summer exams – supported by their dedicated teachers.

We take immense pride in our students’ accomplishments, and these GCSE results exemplify the dedication and resilience that define our Eltham College community. As we continue to uphold our commitment to academic excellence, we look forward to witnessing the continued growth and achievements of our remarkable students.
