We are delighted to announce the successful reinstallation of ‘The Garden of Hope’ in the Guy Hughes Library at Eltham College Junior School.
‘The Garden of Hope’ is a testament to transformation and the profound connection between hope, action, and change. Crafted from recycled materials, this installation features meticulously sculpted animals and plants, all brought to life through the collaborative efforts of local artists Mary Banker and Eliana Peracchio. A total of 400 schoolchildren from Blackheath Prep participated in 18 workshops, contributing to the creation of this captivating piece of art.
Having embarked on a journey at several venues in south-east London, ‘The Garden of Hope’ makes its fourth stop at the Gerald Moore Gallery. Its debut at Blackheath Prep was followed by successful exhibitions at Lewisham Shopping Centre and the Albany at Deptford Lounge.
We are excited to welcome visitors, students and staff to the Guy Hughes Library at Eltham College Junior School, where they can experience the wonder of this remarkable art installation firsthand.
