On October 13th, a total of 53 Eltham College students participated in the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge. The group, comprising two Year 10 students and three Year 11 students, alongside sixth formers, showcased their mathematical skills on a national stage.

The UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge, a competition that attracts some of the brightest young mathematical minds across the United Kingdom, serves as a platform for students to demonstrate their problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and mathematical knowledge. It is also a remarkable opportunity for students to expand their horizons and explore the world of mathematics.

At Eltham College, we are committed to nurturing and fostering the intellectual growth of our students, and participation in such competitions is a testament to our dedication to academic excellence.

While we await the results of the competition after half term, we extend our congratulations to our talented students for their performance this morning.
