On Tuesday, our Year 9 Latin students immersed themselves in a learning experience set within a re-creation of an authentic Ancient schoolroom. Dressed in togas and sandals, our students had the opportunity to experience first-hand the world of Roman education.

The experience was a hands-on exploration of how things were done in Roman times. From reading and writing to arithmetic and Latin, the students engaged with replicas of ancient teaching tools like ostraca, wax tablets, and counting boards using Roman numerals.

This workshop allowed our students to immerse themselves in the past, learn and most importantly, have fun!
