Half term saw the annual Snotling Slam, the U18 Blood Bowl competition held in Troll Trader Bromley. The swiss system, where winners play winners etc, saw four competitors enter round 3 – the final round – with two wins each.
In a nail biting finish, Seb was one of two undefeated players who had 3/3 wins, but was just pipped into the runner up spot on touchdown difference; his +9 just missing out to the winner’s +10. Other successes include Etienne winning the award for most touchdowns scored, Will inflicting the most casualties, and Harry picking up the coveted wooden spoon. With entrants travelling from as far away as Swindon, this was a big event in the Blood Bowl community, as our players from the ECBC competed against other U18s from all over the south.
